Tips
The ceremony and dinner will be held outdoors. We’ll have plenty of heaters, but we recommend bringing a light sweater to stay comfortable in the crisp fall air.
Both the ceremony and dinner will take place on grass, so we suggest choosing footwear that won’t sink - think block heels, wedges, or flats.

Are Children Permitted?
As space at the venue is limited, we kindly request that the celebration be adults-only.
What airports are nearby?
If you’re flying in from out of state, we recommend flying into LAX and driving up to Los Olivos. If it works for your travel plans, Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) is an excellent alternative and only about 35 miles from Los Olivos.
Is there a Sunday event?
No formal plans for Sunday just yet, but we’ll keep you posted if we add something for those who’d like to continue the celebration.
Please note that Uber, Lyft, and other rideshare services are limited throughout the Santa Ynez Valley.
For evening events, we recommend walking if you’re staying in Los Olivos, taking advantage of our wedding-day shuttles, arranging a driver in advance, or designating a sober driver
Complimentary parking is available on-site at Mattei’s Tavern. If you choose to drive, please plan accordingly and drive safely, as many of the roads throughout the valley are dark and winding at night.
At this time, we plan to offer wedding-day shuttle service to and from Corque Hotel in Solvang. Additional details and the shuttle schedule will be shared with guests prior to the wedding weekend.

About Us
Though we both grew up in Newport Beach, our paths somehow never crossed.
Drew moved to San Diego for high school, then headed to New Jersey for college before eventually settling in New York to work in finance.
Carly, meanwhile, had always dreamed of living in the Big Apple and finally made the leap in December 2020 - right in the middle of COVID.
Fast forward a few months to April 2021: we both found ourselves back in California for the wedding of our mutual friends, Bradley and Allie Beaudette.
Drew, a few drinks in, mentioned his interest in “the blonde in the green dress”… only there happened to be two Strutner girls in green dresses that night.
The next day, after sorting out which sister had caught his eye, Drew asked Bradley for Carly’s number - who asked his mom, who asked Carly’s mom, who asked Carly - whose response was, “Sure, why not.”
One trip to Mexico and one brutal sinus infection later, we finally went on our first date on June 3, 2021… and the rest is (obviously) history.
